Remember the Master

Have you ever had to put something together, maybe a model car, a piece of furniture, a jigsaw puzzle? There are a lot of people who enjoy these kinds of activities, while others can try them and end up more frustrated than fulfilled.

Very often it goes far beyond just a hobby or an everyday job. Sometimes we look at a task and we think, "I just can't do this! It's too hard!" And if we're being honest with ourselves, there are occasional times we think that something might be too difficult even for God to do, that whatever reason, this time He won't be able to help us.

I don’t like feeling this way, and I know it’s a little bit irrational. But I’m human, and occasionally this human brain of mine forgets in just whose hand it is I’ve placed my life. So when I start feeling this way myself, I’m try to remind myself of what we read in Jeremiah 32:17 – “Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You!”

I want to encourage you today so that the next time you start confronting worry and doubt and fear, don’t forget that God put this world together, He put YOU together, He knows how it all works, and He knows how to fix it when it gets broken, no matter what it is.

Remember: Jesus loves you, and when you realize that your jigsaw-puzzle-of-a-life is too daunting to piece together yourself, keep the faith, knowing that nothing is too hard for Him. Thanks for listening, and God bless you.
